Emancipation Station

The Emancipation Station is an interactive 3 step interactive artwork that invites participants to derive 3 unique and individual numeric combination numbers which are used to unlock the dial combination to enlightenment. The dial exists as a rotating "pedistal" which the participant stands on as he/she/they dial and unlock their ourney to enlightenment. Once their combination unlocks their ourney, they are presented with a 18mm amulet of playa dust which represents the Earth. The partcipant is then sent on a 709 ft. ourney (the relative distance from the Earth to the 79" inflatable Sun located on the Playa... and their ourney of Enlightenment is complete.
