playa.camp
The map of Black Rock City.
1,179 theme camps at their official addresses, 488 still looking for members. Filter by music, food, workshops, and how much they gift.
The city
Forty people you know are going, and once you are out there you cannot find any of them.
Seventy thousand people, five miles of desert, and a network that stops working the moment everyone arrives. Right now that lives in a group text nobody can search.
Drop your pin
Type three letters. Your camp is already there.
The address gets someone to the block. That one sentence gets them to the door, and it is the part nobody else asks for.
Not in the registry? Type the address however you say it out loud — 7:30 & E, 730 E, E & 7:30 — or let the map read it off your GPS.
1,179 real 2026 theme camps are already on the map at their official addresses, so adding yourself is usually three letters and a tap — the address comes with it. Then one line about how to actually find you once someone is standing there: "yellow shade structure behind the big dome". Fifteen seconds, no account, no email.
One link
Send one link to everyone who needs it.
playa.camp/p/yellow-dynamoplaya.camp/p/yellow-dynamo?edit=…The only way back in. There is no password to lose.Every pin gets a share link and an image card sized for Instagram Stories, showing your camp name, your address, your how-to-find-me note and your pin on the city. Because there are no accounts, the edit link is the only way back in — so it is yours to keep, and there is no password to lose.
Find your people
Everyone who sent you a link, held together.
This is the part that is worth opening every day for two weeks. The product is not really a map — it is a way of keeping track of people you love in a place built to make that hard.

- Sam8:15 & J6 min by bike
The camps your friends send you collect into one constellation inside the big city, with the real distances between them and roughly how long each is by bike. It fills in over the week as more people land.
Then you leave
Print it, fold it, put it in a pocket.
Nobody is refreshing an app out there. Paper is the only thing that still works when the phone is dead, so the whole week of planning ends as one page you can hold.
The map does also keep working offline, and it can name the street corner you are standing on with no signal at all. That is the backup, not the pitch.

True vector·About 9 KB·Opens with no network
The week of planning ends as one printable page: the city, your camps, your people, your plan. True vector, about 9 KB, and it opens with no network. Nobody is refreshing an app at Burning Man — they are looking at paper, and paper is the only thing that still works when the phone is dead.
The registry
1,179 camps, already placed.
Every placed 2026 theme camp is on the map at its official address and searchable, and 488 of them are still looking for members — which is genuinely useful if you have not sorted out where you are camping yet.
This was compiled from Burning Man Project’s public release. The camps have not claimed these entries, every one links back to its own official listing, and any camp can correct its location or remove itself instantly, on its own word, with no proof asked for and nothing to appeal.

And when you get home.
People come back with two thousand photographs and nowhere good to put them. The map fills back in — pictures pinned where they were taken, the art you found marked and described, the week kept as a record rather than a plan.
That part is not built yet. It is what comes next.
What this is
It is a gift. That is the whole business model.
- Free, and there is nothing to buy.
- No ads.
- The map and a week need no account. Joining a camp does.
- No tracking, and no analytics watching you read this.
Made by a burner. The city geometry comes from Burning Man Project’s public GIS release, and art and camp locations stay withheld until their embargoes lift. Not affiliated with, endorsed, or verified by Burning Man Project.
