burning man as enormous permission engine: what happens if i turn that knob? open that door? talk with that new five minute friend? infinite possibilities, and all we know with reasonable certainty is what happens if we don't: nothing. for millennia, labyrinths have existed across cultures and continents as permission engines to move at human speed, in whatever way fills the cup of the user. there is no wrong way to engage with a labyrinth. all are invited to meet the labyrinth where it as, as they are, and engage as their authentic selves. contemplative, meditative, somber, joyful: the labyrinth invites all comers. the labyrinth also presents a study in human geography. the title, "always. all ways." is a love letter.
