Luma Lotus is an interactive sculptural installation designed to invite rest, reflection, and meaningful connection. The piece draws inspiration from the lotus flower, known for its symbolism of growth, renewal, and emergence. The installation functions as a gentle gathering space where friends, strangers, and passersby can slow down, sit together, and reconnect, both with themselves and others, as well as in the moment. The petals can also provide small bits of shade to sit under and take in the moment. With the soft glow at night, the lotus emits a warm and welcoming atmosphere for people to come into as well. With the action and energy of the city, the lotus provides a quiet place to relax and recharge for a moment.
