About
Rinky Dink City is a collective celebration of the small-scale art of the playa. Arranged along a small city street, the artworks explore the essence of rinky-dinky-ness through scale, materials, and concept and empowers new artists to bring their visions to life. Rinky-dinks are characterized by approachable scale, creative use of materials, and focus on a vision over technical precision. Thus, Rinky Dink City explores the question: what is the essence of rinky-dink? What if art was fun? And can we all rinky-dink together? Rinky Dink City is a celebration of community and collective effort, and will hopefully feel like everybody's birthday.
